Trapper's News

Our camp consists of 5 Cover-it cabins for guests, three bunks to a cabin.  This allows plenty of room for you and your fishing buddies to stretch out with all your gear.  Of course things are flexible to accommodate couples or even if people want more in their group.

We opened our camp in 2003 and have been trying to improve it ever since.  The addition of a double size dining tent the second year added a lot of reaching room during meals.

We try to keep things simple at AAWC, breakfast at 7am, then out on the river at 8 with a pack lunch that varies day to day.  We return to camp at 5pm and treat you to some appetizers while you unwind with an adult beverage in the screen tent or take a shower before dinner.  Some of the boys take this time to fish out in front of camp or do some bear-watching.  Speaking of which, the entire compound is surrounded by an electric fence that is turned on at night to keep out any unwanted guests.

Take a walk down the boardwalk, put in to keep your feet dry on those damp days, for dinner at about 7 pm.  The menu varies between strip steak, fresh sockeye and homemade pizza.  All meals are served family style and no one goes hungry.  If you have any dietary restrictions, let us know ahead of time and we'll be happy to accommodate you.
